My neighbor just lost her mom in a nursing home They didn't give he air let alone a respirator. She and her family spent shiva alone They couldn't get out of their cars at the cemetery. They aren't allowed to visit her grave.so so sad

Unemployment is paying more than people were making at their jobs. My small business owner neighbor who owns a smoothie shop wanted to take advantage of the loans to keep employees on the payroll. None of them wanted in. They preferred to get unemployment checks because it is more then they were earning. Something has to be adjusted soon!
About 30 years ago I found myself on unemployment. If I wanted a check I had to go to the office, prove I was looking, list all my interviews and where I sent resumes as well as attend job hunting seminars. There were controls in place. Same thing with welfare. You had to show up, wait in line and explain why you need the help. Now that EBT cards are filled without question, snap, food stamps and unemployment will give you 30k for nothing.
Parents are getting SSDI by saying their kids are ADHD - even if they are fit for work.
On top of that - Dems want to give $ to illegals who just send their money to wherever they came from.
