They must have adjust their algorithm because man, the few times I even bother checking the site there's so much shit that's hidden and still has high scores.

Like check out the NBA thread, comments with 600+ points and it's hidden

Huh made me look it up, since I've always known them as Halupki (Slovak) / Golapki (Polish) ...but apparently there's inscriptions of them in the Torah. And the ancient Greeks were making cooked cabbage dishes so it's been around for quite a while.

It's that and the usual denial of our ancestry.

It's not stuffed cabbage, it's Polish food. It's not a quiche, it's a French dish.

they really care about the children.

To make it even worse, I'd say at least half of those kids go to school to actually get fed a "real" meal and have a place to stay that isn't full of drugs and violence (or at least less so).

It's fucked how public education has devolved into babysitting, but it's more fucked that these "teachers" give no shit about how these kids are going to suffer.

But I guess keeping them home to build up their anger and tear down more statues is probably better in their mind.

Their guide flip flops between "just some helpful tips" to "you have to do this".

The guidance is not intended to revoke or repeal any worker rights, either statutory, regulatory or collectively bargained, and is not exhaustive, as it does not include county health orders, nor is it a substitute for any existing safety and health-related regulatory requirements such as those of Cal/OSHA.1 Stay current on changes to public health guidance and state/local orders, as the COVID-19 situation continues. Cal/OSHA has more safety and health guidance on their Cal/OSHA Guidance on Requirements to Protect Workers from Coronavirus webpage. The CDC has additional guidance for community- and faith-based organizations

Is how they're intending to handwaive it

Ehh definitely less fanatical and more on the "actually doing things and trying to help people" side of the issue.

She married my decently conservative buddy, so they're kind of having their opposing views pull them towards the center, for better or worse.

Good ol' TwoX.

One of my good friends who was a pretty hardcore feminist, like "hardcore" without devolving into 2016 levels of insanity, was banned from that sub for having the audacity to ask "why can't women be pro-life? Aren't we supposed to be about women having freedom?"

Definitely shook up her views a bit.

I mean at the very minimum, it would be NYT has agents in Reddit's HQ but we know they don't even need to do that.

Lol the eternal problem of the internet.

At least back in the day you could just run LOIC in the background...now it's just too much fucking work that I don't give a shit about.

Not even brigades, just karma farm and sow discord

-Write a basic ass Python script that scrapes r/politics

-Take one random top comment from any article on the front page

-Put in some Trump == bad checks just to make sure it's related

-Then literally paste that exact comment on some post in the /new section

-They're own bots will upvote the comment without even really reading it

-Now build up accounts with 10k+ karma within weeks

Now use these accounts to cause havoc and post the good shit until they get banned

Tossup between Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Asheville I'd say, though I haven't been back in a while

I'm more confused. I get the notion that NASCAR pulled this stunt to scare advertisers from dipping out...but could they not have actually bought a fucking noose? Have an intern to throw under the bus? Have a vague blurry CCTV shot of some criminal? ANYTHING?

I mean, I get it. There are dumb people out there. And yes, they don't need to do much to make people believe bullshit. But at least Smollet had some reasonable way to obfuscate his retarded story.

Here? A fucking garage pull?

Should point that the original file was penned by a few scientists and then opened up to a google form.

So yes if you scroll the list, there's real credentials like

Transgender educator from northern CA

And let it be known this letter's retarded logic is the same "reason" kids are being given puberty blockers. They argue that if trannies have a 50% suicide rate, that means any solution that is < 50% in mortality is deemed acceptable.

There's actual scientific publications arguing this, I'm not even kidding.

And just this morning, Alexis Ohanian (u/kn0thing), my Reddit cofounder, announced that he is resigning from our board and that he wishes for his seat to be filled with a Black candidate, a request that the board and I will honor.

Dumb question but is that even legal?

Edit: welp didn't find out it was legal or not, just found out about Commiefornia passing SB 826 last year that forced companies to have women board members or get 100k FINES. One case against it was thrown out (must have been a $cam since the argument was bizarre and stupid) and the other is no other than based Judicial Watch that was supposed to happen in March, but most likely delayed. Fuck I'm so angry reading about this bullshit.

Slightly off topic, but I encourage other agnostics to still look into the other side spirituality, such as secular Buddhism. I think it provides a good set of tools to ward off being black pilled into helpless nihilism. Stephen Batchlor's works are easy reads, such as Buddhism Without Beliefs (PDF)

I'm curious if they've done any studies on taking it as a "precaution". I forget the correct medical term, but like in POTUS case where he's asymptotic but has a high chance of having it/contracting it.

People do it right after getting tick bites because one week of antibiotics pales in comparison to if they actually pick up anything.

So I presume the same here, though I'm curious as to why only the anti-malarial and not just go ahead and do the azithro dose too. Guess it's mainly for coinfections?
