That's what blows my mind! Places in the USA where horrible incidents of gun violence have taken place already have strict gun laws and background checks!
So when Leftists cry out, "We need background checks! Registration!" I'm confused, because everywhere for hundreds and hundreds of miles around already has those requirements in place! It's already implemented, and very strongly integrated into the system.
I was at Cabela's over the Summer, during peak BLM season. I watched several people get declined on their firearm background checks, and walk away from their purchase. There's plenty of states that require ID or registration info even to purchase ammo.
We can discuss constitutionality of this another time -- what I'm saying here is these checks and balances are already in place! And the Media makes it seem like guns and ammo are just given away.
