The boy I loved killed him self w alcohol. I didn’t realize at the time he was an alcoholic. He was 22 and I figured he was drinking like we all did at that age (I was 27). I found out after we broke up that his drinking became worse. He finally met a nice girl and got engaged but his drinking came between them. After he died (40 years old) I found out from his sis that his mother abused him as a kid after his father died. She became depressed n took it out on him. I never knew until it was too late. I wish I did I would have stopped drinking w him when he was 22 and tried to get him the help he needed. He died alone in a transient hotel in Philly.😔 I’m glad you are getting the help you need!
