Take a page out of Kayleigh McEnany's book. If you know what you'll be discussing, anticipate and come with a binder of facts. Highlight key data so you can index and locate points quickly. One of my best debate performances was when I had to debate an unpopular position. Because I was the only one willing to debate my side of the issue, it was me versus a team of students. People rarely given an honest thought to unpopular positions and likewise they failed to anticipate my arguments and supporting data. I ended up steamrolling them so hard they were often left fumbling and speechless. It was just as embarrassing for them as you can imagine.

Also, pointing out the facts is not hate-speech. Pointing out blacks disproportionately commit violent crime is a fact. That stands independent of any opinions on race. Jews are massively over-represented in industries which have vast influence over society, that's a fact. That doesn't mean all blacks are violent criminals or all Jews are subjugating and manipulating the Western world into an early death. It does mean that most of those in a position to manipulate Western civilization happen to have names that sound a lot like Epstein. What we need is rational, limited and proportional regulation. What we have is vast over-regulation not limited by rationality. If you want to build a skyscraper, it makes sense that the public have a say through a government in approving your design and making sure it won't collapse. If you're making an industrial product and you have a few hundred barrels of toxic waste chemicals you need to get rid of, you should have to do it safely so you don't destroy a public resource and give everyone cancer.
However, if you just want to build a home for yourself, the only people who should care whether you built it out of an experimental eggshell composite, paper mache, or 100 ton marble columns is you and any future buyers, not the state. A clause stripping the presidential powers to invoke the insurrection act was slipped into the NDAA. Trump vetoed it, but several days ago the senate pushed it through by voting to overrule the veto with a super majority. The question is whether it has it gone into effect yet or if Trump can still try invoking it and litigate later. I'm not sure.
