Terrifying. Neurological and reproductive.
Wonder which strain the US has. Flu, or world ending.
I've seen that.
It would be untenable. China, South Korea, Japan, etc. would not have things under control.
Most corporations can't run 6 months with no revenue.
It would be worse than a depression. It would be the stone ages.
It's a reasonable hypothesis.
Truth is so difficult to assess, because there's truth (virus), and it does things (overwhelm hospitals and kill people). Then there's the "never let a crisis go to waste" politics. There's the manipulation (fake satellite images, UN white helmets), and there are people you have a history with that act certain predictable ways (GOP, Jim Cramer, Trump, etc.), and some actions dont line up (GOP).
But how is it worse? We have enough preliminary data from New York and Washington. We know people recover. Is there a weaponized strain that we haven't seen? What long term societal cost are we missing?
We're living an xfiles episode.
Don't you love how the headlines on this are.... "Pence tests negative, .. spokesperson says".
Almost like we should assume they're not truthful.
It's funny, because I automatically assume things from the Whitehouse are true. While I automatically assume the mainstream media is trying to deceive me.
I replaced my Gillette Mach 3 with Dorco blades. 90% as good for a fraction of the cost. Buy them in August or November for < $0.93 per blade. Mach 3 is about $1.45 per blade. Made in South Korea and Vietnam (not Chyna!), and same as the Dollar Shave Club in case you're interested.
"You're a very bad reporter"... POTUS to bad reporter
"I've been right a lot" - POTUS
It works. Potus approved. But hold-up... FDA so-called leadership won't be overruled by a mere President.
Serious question - do you trust the numbers coming out of South Korea? Some of the money people I follow, who have a history of doing business there, don't trust South east Asia in general (including South Korea). Which means, Italy is out only source of truth, in terms of being ahead of the US in the curve.
I don't have an informed opinion either way, but this was a perspective I didn't have until recently (e.g. I don't trust China, but I assumed South Korea was democratic enough to be trustworthy).
Yeah that 8 million figure. Maybe, but I don't know.
How do we have China mobile subscriber data?
