I hate what the city of Moscow did. But I know the cops there. There was a shooter who started opening fire on the bars downtown. They ran into gun fire to stop it. I know the cop who died doing that. I know his fucking kids and held her when she found out he died. You can call me any fucking names you want but I don’t see you getting shot to save my sister who was in the bars getting shot at. So yeah, fuck you.
Anyone saying “fuck these cops” has no idea how Moscow is. I know the cops there and they ran into gun fire when some crazy fuck killed a pastor and started shooting at the bars downtown. One of the best people I knew was killed when he and his partner ran out of the cop shop to stop the shooter. These officers are not bad people. This is them having to follow the bad laws the city passed. I promise you they are not happy having to enforce that law.
I went through Spokane chicks social media. I’m 99% sure she was just nuts and drugged out. She didn’t have a single political post. But she lost her nursing license for a drug relapse. Some shit on there about baby daddy drama. I think she was just fucking nuts.
I fully understand the family not wanting anyone using their sons death as a talking point. But I will point this out "They reached out after hearing Joe Biden discussing their son's death." not after Trump said anything like the article says. Notice how the first part of the story isn't in quotes? Gee wonder why.
Also, if you want to see how fucking sick the left can be, look at the comments on KHQ's Facebook post on it.
Honestly, I have never once had Fish and Game say anything about the weight of what we had with us, just checking tags. I wouldn't be shocked if they even knew that was in the regs. I have seen some people out with huge scopes and bipods that I know add up weight fast on a gun.
I was thinking Aero M5 lower. That way its just mags and a stock. Get the stripped upper and put on a light barrel and hand guard. I won't be doing a lot of mag dumps with it so heat shouldn't be an issue. Maybe try to get a light BCG but even then I just can't see it being that much weight savings. Magpul MBUS for anything under 50 yards and a 3x9 for normal 100-300 yard shots. No where I hunt will I ever take a 350+ yard shot. Hell most the time I have like 30-100 yard that I can even see in the trees. Its part of the reason I want to go AR platform. I can swap out shit and have options for quick close shots. I just know its going to be 3x the cost of what I can get for my .30-06 too.
Hunting and shit hits the fan. Only like 8 days a season am I really going through some backwoods north Idaho shit (elk season) rest of the time it’s road hunting from a SxS or sitting on a deck drinking coffee waiting for a doe to come off the hill to destroy my friends garden. I got my girl a .308 savage so if I need to use something lighter I have it access to it. But I also have a weight limit on what rifle I can hunt with in Idaho including optic so the Barrett .50 with the Nightforce is not an option.
Mossberg for shotgun. Remington will rust before you get it home unless its per-freedom group buyout. AR's are great, don't get me wrong, but I am getting this for my main HD gun once I can find one in stock:
https://www.mossberg.com/product/590-retrograde-52150/
20 inch barrel, hold 8+1 vs 6+1 in the 18.5 inch. Pump so it will work no matter what ammo you feed it (semi's can have issues with 2 1/2 buck.) Also the wood stock will help with recoil and the heat shield looks bad ass!
You are looking at a min $300 more for an AR right now if you can find one. That's without ammo and any optics, sling and maybe mags if you get a lower, not a full gun. I am seeing some in the $700 price range but they sell out stupid fast. Been waiting for an Aero upper for 3 months now to not be covid priced.
Also, AR (5.56) rounds are going for almost as much as HD rounds for a 12g right now!!!
I would argue that. I played around a lot this weekend with my new sling. I hate single point. Hit me in the junk every fucking time I tried to get to my sidearm. With it setup in a 2 point, I can move the rifle to fire with no issues and move it to the side with no issues.
Regardless of what works for you, get a real sling that will hold when someone is trying to take your weapon away. I picked up 2 cheap ones from Amazon for a plastic stock 10/22 AR style build and I don't even trust them for that!
And im sure that mall was hard to protect.
