And just like any other group, I make sure my clothes are in good condition, and that the tshirts I am sporting aren't overly garish and are still somewhat interesting and nerdy.

If you want to start reading the book, start with Proverbs (most useful book in the entire book) and the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Acts is basically part 2 to the Gospels, and to really understand the New Testament you need a lot of Old Testament knowledge.

I think the big take away is that Milo's headspace is more screwed up than we really know, and it's going to take him years to sort it all out... but at least he's starting to make a somewhat serious attempt at it.
