Republicans are so directionless their agenda for the week is essentially determined by whatever Tucker monologue gets the most hits on twitter. It could be worse but holy fuck do these people suck.

They don't see the modern power paradigm in the same way. Rather they aren't even viewing the same structure. The compartmentalization of information, especially information flow, in the advent of the digital age has created a situation in which people are living in two very separate and very distinct realities from one another. They don't view themselves as part of the ruling class because they don't see these structures as their rulers. To them tech increasing censorship isn't seen as an overt constraint on appropriate dialogue but instead as a necessary measure against corrupt influences. Something done with their approval and for their benefit.

Puff pieces like this aren't meant to fool them. It's stuff that will be in their peripheral. Mentioned only in passing conversation by people who never actually watch the interview. It's a moral pat on the back meant to reassure them that they are supporting the good guys.

The complete coalescence of oligarchical financial, political, cultural and technological powers in our nation.

Yep. It's an away game and it annoys me that elected officials / thought leaders / cultural figures still don't see it as such. Stop playing by their rules because even they don't intend to play by them.

Al Waleed Bin Talal was the one who ordered the hit. Shortly after this the majority of the Royal family was placed under house arrest in the Ritz Carlton and forced to sign over their assets. They now live off monthly allowances. Bin Talal himself was actually arrested and is still in prison IIRC.

It was over the successorship of the Al Saud Royal Family. Or at least that's what I quietly believe.

He also slow walked the shit out of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence investigation into Russiagate. Guy mismanaged the hell out of it, probably purposefully so. Hawley is my pick.

Pompeo's an old Tea Party guy. He knows what the Dems taking over means and he knows that the GOP will be slinking back to the shit it has always been. Also as secretary of state he's seen a plethora of rigged elections. Venezuela and Russia in 2018, Uganda this year... the list is pretty long. He knows what they look like and he's probably black pilled that our media and political class are doing everything to cover it up domestically.

Pompeo was the only major cabinet official who was on his side from start of term to end of term. They accomplished great things together. Look at the burgeoning ASEAN alliance, the Middle East, Taiwan and Pompeo saying fuck the One China Policy, Serbia and Kosovo.... the list goes on. It really is amazing what this country can accomplish on the international stage when our State Department isn't run by profiteering cunts like Kerry and Clinton. Also when our country was hot under the collar for foreign influence in domestic politics Pompeo bitched out the Chinese and the governors who were taking money from them.

One thing I can't get over with Pompeo is the State Departments continued legal pressure on Assange. I can't tell if that's just State swamp or his directive. But everything he's shown at State has been badass.

Don't want to sound like a doomer but I just don't trust Pence to do the right thing.

Weirdest thing to me about the arrest is that he was in a cab when it happened. I'll try to find the tweet but the reporter was interviewing him on a phone call when police flashed their lights and Tarrios told the cab driver to pull over it's for him.

How did the police know he was in that cab? Why was it that important that they arrest him over a destruction of property misdemeanor? About a billion other questions you can tack on to that as well.

I wish Trump would make his support and endorsement contingent upon not just them joining the objection but specifying which states they'll object too. So far Hawley is only in for PA. None of the other senators have said which electors they intent to object.

Feel like we're in for one final backstab. Loeffler's husband (NYSE) refused to delist three Chinese companies from his exchange despite being told to do so by the federal government last night. He did this literally as Loeffler was speaking.

That was the excuse they used. But there was literally no sign of it. And if there was it was only because they were trying to induce it in him. The whole things so fucked up.

Basically a lot of European governments were acting on behalf of the US at the behest of Kerry, Biden and Obama. Even getting him out of the Ecuadorian embassy took a soft regime change coupled with a campaign of psychological torture and isolation. For instance they took away his razor and his access to haircuts prior to extracting him. So when they finally hauled him off he looked like a shaggy bearded crazy old man.

POTUS hasn't pardoned him because honestly he is surrounded by people who give him really terrible advice for really nefarious reasons. I always saw Snowden and Assange as the litmus test for swamp creature/ or not. When there was some great momentum for the Snowden pardon earlier this year Barr was in POTUS' ear talking him out of it. I don't know what he has planned but I hope he's listening to the right people.
