There's definitely something more going on. Let's hope its pedos in black sites far worse and better concealed than gitmo.

It's actually something politicians have done with reporters for a while. I was just reading an article from I think Sheryl Atkinson the other day about all the ways Obama ad Hillary did this. They would give an advanced copy of the speech to friendly reporters on the condition they'd use the precise verbiage Hillary/Obama wanted.

She cited one State Department speech Hillary supplied to reporters. Three separate reporters called the speech "Muscular" and two other synchronicities I have forgotten. One fo the reporters from Politico had their emails leaked and in it contained communications between Him and Hillary's staff negotiating the terms of the article which included "muscular" as the descriptor. Corrupt fucks.

Maybe Trump's doing that? A more traditional messaging strategy? He might have just given it advanced to a reporter to fuck with DNC timing and to make sure the message really gets out there.

CNN tweeting out more raw intelligence for the purpose of keeping us in Afghanistan to fight an endless war with no win condition?

Shocked I tell you. Shocked. Also of course fucking Russia and Iran are going to pay Taliban and ISIS fighters. First - It's the only reason those guys fight. Second - we did the same shit with them. Fuck them for doing it but we've been in proxy war ping pong for the past 40 years.

Also another thing. This is literally what Soleimani and the Quds did. They armed, trained and paid islamic extremists to fight us. Yet CNN was devastated when we droned his ass. Sorry we plugged the hole instead of bailing water out of the boat til the end of time.

Jesus christ. How stupid is America or how stupid does the media think America is that they can push head spinning hypocrisy for days on end.

Some other true to form journalists / professors / personalities who I've found to be informative and often relentless on the Russia Investigation.

Mollie Hemingway

Matt Taibbi

Sundance from Conservative Tree House. (Idk what he's been on about this weekend though.)

Grenell

The Hoover Institution as a whole. They have some great policy analysts who explore what happened often.

Kim Strassell

Jonathan Turley

The one good thing about how shit the media has become lately is that it made me pay way more attention to individual reporters. There's still some good ones out there and that gives me some solace.

All the big tech companies jumping into bed with the Atlantic Council for the purpose of self censoring and fact checking should've been the biggest red flag.

Plus, seeking to strike down every piece of misinformation is an impossible task. They should've been told by the senate to control HOW the misinformation spreads. Get rid of the fucking algorithms that push content based on engagement levels. Facebook in 2012, Reddit and Twitter in 2015 became noticeable propaganda mills when they added their algorithms. It's gotten to the point where I only use twitter and my timeline is highly curated and I'm still at the point where I'm ready to get off for good.

The part that gets me is if you're a journalist and saw that picture on twitter, and couldn't think of any possible explanation other than Trump meddling, wouldn't your first instinct be to call the Post Office and ask what was happening? That's what journalism is after all. The most basic tenet of journalism honestly. Propagating unsubstantiated claims from random photos online is not journalism, it's not news and it's certainly not what this country needs.

Can't wait to read the next article about the problem with right wingers pushing conspiracy theories online. Really enjoyed the last 500.

The jury in the OJ trial celebrated their decision of not guilty by yelling "this one's for Rodney!" in full view of Nicole Brown Simpson's family. Rodney obviously being Rodney King.

I can't believe Oregon's governor, Portland's backwards ass government and our national press have let it get to this point. That video is not America.

The people of Portland should be demanding the DA be removed from office.

STILL arguing about whether it's safe to come out of our homes and go back to work.

The Hoover Institute made a really great point about the debate of when it's safe to come out. That is the "standard" for when it's safe to re open isn't being decided by public policy, public health, economic or national security experts but by politicians and a politicized media. Which is downright crazy that people around the nation are accepting that. We have quite literally subjugated ourselves to the whims of career politicians which is crazy.

That's what I'm saying. They obviously wanted to draw this out as long as possible. Honestly, I don't think it would be crazy at this point to speculate that the nursing home executive orders were a part of it as well. They all happened, if I remember correctly, in states with democrat governors early in the outbreak. Beyond that the orders themselves were so incompetently stupid that one can only think they were born out of malice. The very first thing the federal government announced was guidelines on restrictions for who could enter nursing homes. Yet here we have state mandates intentionally putting infected patients among the most vulnerable population. And we already knew from a nursing home in Washington State how deadly that could be.

Were those orders given with the purpose of driving the death rate up early in the outbreak in order to justify longer and more oppressive lock downs?

I know this has all been talked about before but holy shit does it bother me.

One thing that's pissed me off throughout the ENTIRE coronavirus shut down is that the very first thing Nancy Pelosi prioritized was mail in voting. I'm talking about back in March / early April, Pelosi was putting mass mail in voting in everything she brought to congress and every interview she gave.

The election was still 7-8 months out at that point. We didn't know how long the virus would be here. We didn't know how bad the virus was. We didn't even what the virus really did. Yet mail in voting and ballot harvesting was at the top of her list.

That should concern every American.

I've been feeling that way too. Germany seems to be circumventing the Treaty of the Final Settlement restrictions on their military by building up through the EU (or at least trying too). Couple that with their industrial investments into China and natural gas partnership with Russia it's hard to think of them much as an ally at the moment. Also the recent development with the Iran arms embargo clears up the picture a bit more.

I've been thinking a lot about how things would shake out if China makes a move for Taiwan and I don't have much faith in Germany as it stands. I think the strongest allies we have at the moment are those within the Five Eyes network and Japan. I think Japan should be included into Five Eyes at this point to be honest. Australia's economic ties to China are worrisome as well.

With the DA deciding not to prosecute certain crimes it would really suck if a group of people used that as a reason to kick the shit out of these people. Perhaps demonstrate why we have laws in the first place.

I-i-i-i-ffff Israel and the Gulf States make peace then we can't have an endless war and drone strike weddings in Yemen. How dare you Trump!

For as much as they love to cite watergate for the importance of journalism they are watching something much larger and more perverse take place and they are ACTIVELY ignoring it. It's sick.

I forget where but I saw this yesterday and it drove me bananas. Headline was like 'Trump pushes new racist line to attack Harris, birtherism'. Then you read the article and they are talking about Trump being asked about her eligibility and him saying 'I have no idea if it's true'.

I really don't know what to say anymore in regards to the media. They have shredded every inch of credibility to take down this man. I just don't get it. They are doing unfathomable damage to this country and to themselves. Where is the leadership? Where is the reason?

I've never felt more grim about the state of this country than the day after IG Horowitz testified before the senate. I thought that 14 (!!!!) purposeful errors on FISA applications (the only secret court in our country) to obtain and renew a wiretap on an American citizen part of a presidential campaign, would just be too big to ignore. Seeing how that story got covered fucking killed me.

Also Ukraine releasing the Biden tapes from Air Force 2 and the media completely ignoring it even though they spent the past 5 months campaigning for Trump to be impeached for theoretically doing the exact same thing.

It might sound far fetched but there's a chance Mass goes red this year. I'm basing that off my own anecdotal experience but I honestly do believe we could be in for a surprise.
