You're being steamrolled by default inertia but have my upvote for consolation :)

If you live in the US, you're not a socialist since there's this thing called private property and the system that goes with it is called capitalism. Therefore...

Naturally, there are degrees, it's like having a caviar salad with some dunk in it. The less dunk, the more capitalist.

Not shocking at all. Bureaucracy is a natural habitat for trash, because your responsibility isn't not doing the proper thing, it's following a checklist.

That's a failure of conservatism, for bending the knee. Nothing of this sort comes close to getting incarcerated while being innocent.

Yes, but one should not miss the context. The context was "on thedonald.win, on a sticky post, 'Jocko for President'".

If someone who knew shit about Jocko read it, wouldn't he assume that Jocko is \our guy\ ?

Sure, I didn't claim otherwise. The point was that he doesn't appear to be on the train. It's not that there aren't talented people who aren't onboard and he's the only one. But if we're going to iconize him here, shouldn't it be clear that he doesn't have rare Pepes on his wall?

Kinda silly when you spell it out but I'd say you nailed it ;)

I don't understand your point. If I'm a Trump supporter and you bash Trump because of $reasons, I'm not supposed to be critical of your stance?

Yes, making money is fine. I'm not saying he shouldn't. And he's really good at it and that's great. But his choices are his choices and last I heard, the idea is that one takes responsibility for their choices.

The "I'm not perfect but you shouldn't judge my words if you don't agree with them" doesn't sound like extreme responsibility to me. But maybe that's just me.

Finally, there's no single fire pit. Nobody is bundling him and Jussie at the same tent. Still, he's not going to the White House tent either.

I won't doubt your testimonial. My question to you is - who do we judge (and I mean "judge" in the sense of categorizing)? The "real" him who influences a small circle of friends, or the "persona" him who has a big following?

It's A OK when it's a Dem being anti-war.

Well, he obviously wasn't sreetching like a vagina hat protester but decorum aside, that was the essence. I remember it because I was quite shocked when I listened to it and after that I don't really follow him any more.

Just because it doesn't make any sense to you, doesn't mean...

Have you ever heard the concept of analogy? Surely they didn't fill your school with H1B-visa students and left you without a school seat, yes?

I don't remember the exact video of the interview to link you to but it should be around the Syria/ISIS period.

He fumes about Trump not being a leader for not going to war and how it's our moral responsibility (and ours alone) to police the world and how dare he not send the troops to clean up the middle east, he's such an bad man for not destroying evil and leaders destroy evil etc. Basically, a Matis type of thing.
