You may want to take a step back and remember that these are your fellow countrymen. As off putting or misguided as they seem, they aren’t irredeemable. They have just been mentally poisoned and brainwashed. Their actions are more deserving of sympathy than rage. They are absolutely miserable bugmen paying the equivalent of a downpayment on a house in rent every year, without families or rewarding careers. The world isn’t being destroyed. There is just too much surface area and too few humans to do that.
The world is 70% water right? So straight off the back humans are confined to land mass.
Of the land mass how much of it is arable? How much of it hospitable and capable of sustaining human life? Antartica? The South Pole, the Sahara desert? Are humans really thriving and exploiting all resources inside these areas? Clearly not.
Long story short we aren’t hastening the world’s destruction. We are just reallocating resources to be used again. We are the most amazing “honeybees” to be able to dig out carbon resources (oil) thought to be lost in the center of the earth, break them down to components (carbon dioxide) that the plants and trees use to grow and thrive.
Those same plants and trees “thank” us by producing more oxygen for us allowing for even more humans to be supported.
