Patent reform and enforcing anti-monopolistic laws would go a long way to fix the problem. The US Government (Oligarchy) likes protecting big companies for obvious self-serving reasons. What is the cost of that protection? Lack of innovation and competition. If you haven't realized it yet, US capitalism is in decline - and not because everyone is a commie - it's because the government is actively and supporting monopolies and extending patents for an eternity making it nearly impossible to compete in the market.
He did an interview on Russel Brands podcast. It was pretty good. One point he made, was that the left is OK with giving heroin addicts organ transplants, but not someone that decided not to get vaxxed, and that is a fucked up thing to that do that only fucking monsters would do to other people.
You don't understand. The US put him up to this and he's just getting as much as possible. He's just getting as much for his country as he can out of the stupid deal the US Government gave him. It's funny that you all blame Zelensky...what do you think he should do? He's getting every drop of juice he can out of this. Your anger should be at the US government for provoking and funding this war.
**Bout was a US contractor while he was already an international fugitive. From 2008. ** When U.S. officials announce the arrest of a notorious arms dealer and drug-runner this afternoon, the fact that his planes flew U.S. supply missions in Iraq will likely go unmentioned.
In a January 2005 letter to Congress, then-Assistant Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz admitted the Defense Department "did conduct business with companies that, in turn, subcontracted work to second-tier providers who leased aircraft owned by companies associated with Mr. Bout.
At the time, Bout was already a wanted international fugitive. Intelligence officials had considered Bout one of the greatest threats to U.S. interests, in the same league as al Qaeda kingpin Osama bin Laden. Interpol had issued a warrant for his arrest; the United Nations Security Council had restricted his travel.
But that didn't stop U.S. government contractors from paying Bout-controlled firms roughly $60 million to fly supplies into Iraq in support of the U.S. war effort, according to a book released last year by two reporters who investigated Bout. And it didn't prevent the U.S. military from giving Bout's pilots millions of dollars in free airplane fuel while they were flying U.S. supply flights.
Well this is basically Stormfront now and he's black...what did you expect....?
