Don't forget Moody's, the "Reputable Wall Street firm" she mentioned is partly responsible for the housing collapse in 2008. They basically rated shit bonds as prime. They knew it. Everyone knew it. And now they are "reputable".
Every religion does. I'm Jewish and I can tell you, we don't stone people for adultery anymore, even though we are supposed too. The religion is very old and teachings are not interpretted literally. another weird one, Jews, like muslims, are also allowed to have multiple wives, however western influence caused Jews to abandon this practice.
BH has good prices and they're a good company. If I'm making an electronics purchase, and prices are the same or close, I'll pick BH everytime. I once bought an expensive camera that broke in a couple months, not my fault, mechanical failure. The warranty didn't cover it and the insurance was giving me a hard time, but BH sent me a new camera after I explained the problems I was having. They didn't have too do that. Also if you are into photography, they have really great free online seminars. The rumor is the Apple stores were based on the BH store experience.
I married I girl from NY - she refused to leave up until this year, despite me wanting to for the last 10. It's easy to hate on NYC, but it's also an amazing place. Now she wants out and to live in a Red State. She's always been conservative, but I think it's gone too far left for her.
It depends. Amazon, in the past, will undercut smaller businesses until the company is forced to sell or go out of business. The only way they can do this is that they have the ability to lose money in a vertical for a long time while they destroy competition.
That really go me too. I didn't think I heard her right. Moody's really shouldn't be in business anymore. The fact that these assholes were given a free pass, and in some cases bailed out, really gets me. Moody's, S&P, Sallie Mae, the insurers, ect...should all be out of business and people should be in jail. If we hadn't bailed out all these banks our economy would be much stronger today - though the recession would have been more painful.
