There was a thread on the NFL sub about the Lions skipping practice over this shooting and pretty high up was a massive red pill that linked to his history, him being confrontational and a pic that showed him holding a knife and there was a lot of commenter support for the OP. Was pretty shocked but it seems that they are having trouble keeping the narrative going with this one.
I live in the area and heard from multiple friends who attempted to attend the event that they were turned away at the door. I've heard this from at least a dozen people and my friend circle that I am open with politically isn't that big.
Wish more people would realize this truth. I myself am fine, but I have a lot of what I would consider coworkers (same building, but work in rental spaces under a 3rd party employer) who are going without checks right now. One of them is a mom of two teenagers and her husband runs a contracting agency (hint: not a lot of people contracting work right now) and her company flat out isn't paying. There are dozens of people I personally know in the same boat and it sickens me to see people here and elsewhere belittle their struggles. These are good, honest, hardworking people that have had their futures taken away from them by this chinese virus and I wish more people were empathetic to this.
We may be in a good spot personally, but that doesn't mean everyone is and those are American families too and they need help right now and this old bag of bones is stopping that help from coming in order to push whatever agenda she is shilling for this week.
