Good article! How about we apply the same Dem election rules to a Senate race and see if we can't kill the 17th amendment? We just have an election as normal in a red state but we allow each member of the state house to cast 10,000 ballots as they saw fit, either openly or not. The result would be an end run around the 17th and according to SCOTUS no state would standing to challenge.
