I know I shouldn't even be on reddit anymore, but I have received my first wrongthink ban from a subreddit community. I was simply stating the fact that I am more likely to die in a car wreck than I am to die from coronavirus. The mods initially tagged my name with a Star flair that read "COVID Denier." After being banned I replied to the mods with the statistics to prove my case, and their response was to mute me and uphold the ban. The truth is that in the age group of 25-44, there are double the amount of deaths in car wrecks every year, than we have seen so far from Corona.

The reason I am posting this is that this was the first time I have personally felt the impact of wrongthink, and it has shown me how dark the hour is for the truth.
