I am getting back into Christianity after a long hiatus. I have always prayed but I am not very familiar with the Bible (anymore). Could you explain this passage and why it brings you comfort? At first glance, I do not feel comforted by this but I would love to hear your perspective because I am ignorant when it comes to the Bible. I am finding myself becoming angry and upset and falling into the same pattern of leftists. I don’t want to be this way, because some of the people I feel angry with ARE the ones closest to me. You are so spot on. If I ask questions or bring up inconsistencies to my liberal friends, I am met with the exact programming that MSM has brainwashed these people with: “Trump is racist” “Trump got our country into debt” “Election fraud is baseless”
There are no original thoughts. It is a regurgitation of the same few propoganda headlines that flood the media every day. Even when you bring up points that contradict their statements (such as all the reasons why Trump isn’t racist, or all of the reasons why Biden IS racist), they go into default mode: “Trump is bad. Trump is taking away our rights”
Yet no one can tell me WHY they think Trump is racist, no one can tell me HOW he is taking away people’s rights, no one can give me an intelligent, thoughtful answer to why they hate Trump. They just do. It’s fucking scary
