"Choose not to identify" means white.
I hate the language this CEO uses. In what way is putting a huge billboard with a hash tag high above its surroundings an attempt to have a conversation? I have started zero conversations with a billboard. Most people usually just directly engage with a person they want to have a conversation with and start talking. And somebody looking at this billboard got pissed off that no conversation was being had, so they climbed up there to try and post a response....and this CEO is amazed at the lengths people will go to to AVOID a conversation? The only more effective way to avoid a conversation than a billboard would be a blimp or an airplane banner. This guy is incredible.
An interstate being closed for 19 days due to a group of people who could fit into one paddy wagon ought to be a national outrage.
Can't. I have to return some videotapes.
Yeah I'd love to stay and read about that, but I have a business meeting uptown with Cliff Huxtable at the four seasons.
No problem. I think for the better part of my life I was unaware of the distinction. Civics was not taught to me during my public education.
Actually, since the HTC debacle in the US, I suspect that most of these actions by government to block apps or phones are entirely brought about by the lobbying of competitors.
Assault and battery have been separately defined this way for hundreds of years. Why do we just now not understand it?
It's only assault and battery if you punch someone and they are aware it happened. Imagine sneaking up on someone and hitting them in the back of the head and instantly knocking them out. That's battery and not assault because they were never in apprehension of imminent harm.
No. That is called battery. Assault is causing apprehension of imminent harm. Shaking your fist at somebody is probably not assault under most circumstances. Usually people who are charged with battery are also charged with assault, hence why you hear "assault and battery"
Large chanting crowds are the tools of the left. I'm suspicious.
... You better gain way
This is not really a good way to engage with people to change hearts and minds
I'm not sure it's sovereign immunity, but I think exclusive jurisdiction falls to the court of Federal Claims. Anybody back me up on that or have other info?
If someone is blocking a roadway intentionally, they should be exclusively criminally and civily liable for any act caused by a motorist colliding with them or attempting to evade them. Did I cover it?
You know something? That's some sturdy glass.
Here comes the Wells Fargo protection money donation to BLM
If the .win network intends to stand as an intellectual counterpart to reddit, it's not going to be able to do that without consolidating various interests the same way reddit does. It won't be as popular.
Without trying to justify the Dems beatificaton of George Floyd, we should remember that people are not subhuman due to the mistakes of their past and that Floyd had been brought to justice for armed robbery. The Dems seem to dance on the head of this pin, where they get to glorify him for being unjustly killed without regard to whether doing so would send a message that Floyd's flaws are excusable. But he certainly did not deserve to be killed, and his humanity should not be forgotten.
Of course, this is the main limitation of the win network, as there is no algorithmic aggregation site for the various win sites, so there is very little chance for community growth through cross-pollination.
Even if I was a 40 year old dude, unmarried, without kids, a "daddy's home" comment would hit like a ton of bricks. I wouldn't even have a biological clock and it would still sting.
Already was.
