Here’s and angle on the nursing homes nobody picked up.
Most nursing homes are rehabilitation centers. It’s not always old people. The problem was her blanket legislation not protecting them by segregating the old from the young.
What was the thing they hid about maintaining a certain level of operation/ occupancy? What were the consequences?
Fair enough, even if they themselves don’t bring the PETA type mentality, they invite them. And you are completely right, nothing will ever please them. They want to burn it to the ground if they can’t (or even if they do) have their way.
Also damn.... you’re talking full scale. I get it, though I wish I didn’t. Yes, with everything going on the intentions are to strip us of anything between us and them.

I would expect them to aim for ovrely relying on health testing to be controlling than being anti pet. They try to push all the expensive tests that aren’t even problems (I pay about $1.5k/litter in health screening/tests alone). We are a breed that hunts, so there’s a level of acceptance to something PETA would consider much worse.
Great point about good will and reaching out. There have been wars through similar breed club histories, but the “organization” (if you could even call it that) and harassment are unprecedented.
Well it’s an international breed club and the prestigious clubs are ones like AKC we’ve been working to get acceptance from for 20 years.
Yeah they keep pushing legalities for a goddamn dog club... any rule they try to bend to fit their narrative. It’s hard enough to enforce a contract for a dog you sold, let alone pay legal fees for enforcing the rules of the club. They are even trying to get us to add diversity bylaws... like there’s any possibility for discrimination!?

She thinks rich people only left to live with their parents or lake houses during the lockdown. It’s not like there’s more to NY than young rich kids, people who lost their jobs, or people who want to spend less and work remotely.

I already have found Lansing to be terrible in terms of their spotty neighborhoods and lack of policing (not necessarily the fault of the LPD). But I doubt these “up and coming” neighborhoods will ever truly get better.
Pretty sure I've heard that angle of COVID impact from the right... also how is that any better not being gun violence or a reason for there to be more domestic violence?
