Well, that and the fact that they didn't really have the raw material access that the US and Russia had. Plenty of nations still used MG42 variants (as the MG3) right up to the end of the 20th century.

Necessity is a bitch of a mother but I do wonder what the Germans might have produced with say all of Africa's resources or all of the North American continent's resources at their disposal.

And the Clintons. And the Obamas. And having to watch W learn to paint. At least the ones assigned to Carter can help him build houses.

Wait a second. Sexuality and gender identity is a spectrum, right?

If so, then I'm also technically LGBT. I mean I'm on the part of the spectrum where the needle has pushed so far over into the Straight part that I'm Super Straight. Time to exploit my marginalised status!

Seriously, though, it is sad to see what has happened to the old school GLB community. Seeing the horror that a lot had to fight through in the 70s-90s for even just basic acceptance and it's all being undone by socially woke 'tards. Even some greybears (hahaha, I mean greybeards) have come out to say that the current community doesn't reflect or represent anything like what they fought for across the 70s, and back then a Tranny was a Transvestite.

  • REEEE! Atticgate isn't real!

  • But, what about the court case and the conviction and the 22 year prison sentence?

  • REEEE! If it was real, our proud super-womyn Aimee would have known about it...

  • ...........

  • REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yes, they said that, and no, they're not. At least anyone who's not a trannny apologist isn't buying it.

I dunno. Given all the shilling that goes on over there, I suspect the mouse gives them plenty of money to suppress bad news.

Yup. Graveyards are full of people that learned that the hard way. Same for the affirmative diversity hires at the airframe builders.

I don't give a shit what colour, creed, sex, or whatever you are as long as you do your fucking job properly. If that job entails getting me safely off the ground and then back on it, I'm going to have quite a vested interest in how well you do your job.

I see your point, but if you look at other places where occupying forces faced organic resistance from the local population, it isn't always based around religion.

Sure, we could mark off Northern Ireland, much of Africa, and even continental Europe during the Age of Enlightenment as cases where religion was a primary driver of the resistance, but I'd also consider that nationalism has been used as an effective resistance motivator. I'd say that WWI's Lawrence of Arabia used nationalism to motivate the arab tribes he was working with. WWII's partisans and Resistance seemed to be more driven by nationalistic / patriotic concerns than anything else.

If anything positive is coming out of the last few days, I think I'm seeing a rift in the illogical left where those still in touch with reality are realising it is the loonies that have control of the media and zeitgeist and they're now slowly starting to fight back. Not quite a red pill, but it is at least slightly orange.

As an outside observer, I still think the US has the rifle behind every blade of grass, and conservatives might be surprised at the number of centrists and mild leftists who are actually on their side when the crunch comes.

Huh, looks like I'm not the only one that sees it. Maybe there's hope for us yet.

It also goes to show (repeatedly, for those who fucking suck at their military history), that a pissed off populace armed with an assortment of weapons can make life extremely miserable for any overwhelmingly well equipped (debatable) invading / occupying force.

Even if we label them "insurgents", it doesn't change the fact that they don't want your boots on their ground and while they might have welcomed you initially, they will show you 7.62mm at a time why you overstayed your welcome.

Then, pour into the power vacuum the fact that every goatfucker with an RPG and a Koran can think about creating a Caliphate, and mix in a range of tribal differences, and the place goes back to shit.

Afghanistan - the graveyard of Empires. Perhaps it is indirectly that of the US as well. One can only hope the CCP gets ahead of themselves and are the next to over-commit in that area.

Well, some of the linked material that was going around regarding his background implied that he'd been abused and groomed since at least his early teens by his future "husband" and another polyamorous partner. It didn't even bother to look at any abuse within the household as there was plain enough evidence outside it.

When the Super Straight thing first took off, one of the reddit dramas that had been unfolding was that a group of trannies had taken over "reallesbians" and were forcing tranny discussion and topics into their safe space. Why there needed to be a sub called reallesbians is another great question. Surely they should have been comfortable in the safe, inclusive space that was lgbt?

Or, just perhaps it was reality dicking them (hah) over and they were finding that their happy little rainbow community was a hateful bigoted place of exclusion.

What do lesbians have to do with this? Well, one of the subs that the tranny of the moment was modding was reallesbians, and was probably a key reason why it got shut down and ultimately responsible indirectly for the rise of SS!

Yeah Nah, the sheepfuckers are the next island to the East. Good attempt for an American, though.

Most of our non-Lebanese goatfuckers keep trying to row their way in on leaky boats. The Lebanese have been here since their civil war, so they're almost part of the furniture now. Even our Indonesian friends who move across tend to be the Christians and Buddhist types trying to get away from their rabid goatfuckers.

We still have problems with them, though. The pansy leftists will never admit that there's fundamendalist (hah) differences between cultures that will never be resolved and those differences tend to be expressed with violence towards the Australian community.

Stop and think for a second. I don't know if you know much about British-style parliaments, but Green parties are generally somewhere well out to the loony left. Many were founded by dyed-in-the-wool legitimate card-carrying communists.

Now that you have a basic idea about the ideological position of a Green party, you might get an inkling as to why there wasn't a sudden desire to report their colleague. It also represents political power that they now hold over their colleague and is something they can use for leverage down track.

If you want another example of how shittily politicians are handling things, just look at how Australia's Federal parliament is eating itself alive (at least on the Government side) over misogynistic behaviours and sexual assault claims (noting that the leftist press are staying rather quiet about the left side of politics).
