Use the app “Maps.me” it’s the only real and good offline map app. Google maps is never odd line and doesn’t work where they don’t want it to work.

Example: I like to visit Havana, Cuba. When you’re in Cuba Google maps even offline doesn’t work. Maps.me does and works great.
