There's a guy at work who thinks free capitalism is bad because it allows monopolies or something. He's all excited about this Gamestop stuff though.

I told him I was for as few regulations on businesses as possible and he immediately went into his spiel about needing massive regulation to keep mega corporations under control.

After that I said something along the lines of those mega corporations are the ones writing the regulations for the politicians to make law and they have lawyers and can afford to abide by the regulations and pay fines, but those same regulations crush their small business competitors. He's was just like "Well... Yeah" after that.

He seems like a Bernie guy or something. But at least I think I may have changed his mind on at least one thing maybe.

I think they call us all liars as well.

Yeah, my food wall is mainly for backup if my other food production plans fail. I just posted it because of all the GME investment talk going on and thought it'd be funny to relate it to investing in food since it's possible food prices could go way up like GME stock.

I'm wondering if my aerobic septic system will slowly improve the soil.

Soil isn't all that great. After building my house, a lot of red clay got mixed into the top soil. Even grass has a hard time in certain places. My greenhouse is 20' x 16' and I'm in the process of building raised beds to plant in. I'll probably need to buy some soil for them or something.

When it's gone it will be converted to fertilizer.

I have 2 acres, but trees cover half of that. Been thinking about clearing more land. I live alone, so only family I have are parents and a brother who live 45 minute away.

I've got a well. I've the equipment for enough off grid power to run the pump, just need to finish getting it set up.

Working on a greenhouse. I've been wanting chickens but haven't had time between full time job and greenhouse. Also got solar panels, charge controller, batteries and inverter that I haven't got set up yet, I want to be able to run my well pump if for some reason I can't get electricity service anymore.

I think I wore one once when I was a kid on Halloween, but I was really young so the memory is kind of vague.
