Let's put it in other terms. It's a heads up poker game. Your opponent has two Aces, every hand. And he has an Ace up each sleeve. So at any moment he can have 4 Aces. You know this. Everybody knows this. Nobody cares. He won't be punished, stopped, or disqualified.
You on the other hand, have to play normally. Therefore, you have literal 0% chance of winning any hand.

My fiance is the same way. Early in the pandemic, I explained to her that the lockdown wasn't going to "end in 2 weeks like they said." And that it would likely extend for well beyond a year, and they would probably ease it up, then tighten it more, ease it up, and tighten it more. She said this was nonsense. It was 2 weeks to flatten the curve.
Now she keeps saying the same thing about how yeah it lasted longer than expected and that was bullshit and they lied, but soon everything will be back to normal again.

Then eventually as the fines pile up and go unpaid, the Court issues the Sheriff an order to seize your physical assets and hardware to auction off to pay the fines?

Lin proved himself. He came out against Pence weeks ago. Said pence was a traitor and he had the documents to prove it. Everybody turned on Lin as we loved Pence at the time, thinking he'd save the election. Then Pence "betrayed" Trump.
So Lin called it. Then after being banned, Lin published the Pence emails from 2016, showing how he knew Pence was a traitor.
Lin published the password to Kappy's encrypted files. It checked out with the one way hash. So he really did get the password somehow. He wasn't lying. He proved himself again.
