We are on a large lake (Lake Marion), awesome fresh water, moved here from the liberal coast. There are several lake areas that are super here in SC, e-thing on the coast is pretty expensive & has more dimtards. Best public schools are in north or Summerville near the coast. Most private schools are top-notch everywhere.
