I have often thought that as well but it's not really possible. I believe USMS/ ICE handle deportations and not the State of Texas. An ABC of the Government is not going to defy that order because they will just fire the guy who wrote the order and put someone in place who won't. Most of these individuals are caught by Border Patrol anyway and are in Federal and not State (TX) custody.
I suppose a Texas State Trooper/Ranger or Local LE could detainee someone (who is illegal) and decide not turn them over to ICE or USMS and just do the deportation itself but I am pretty sure there are laws the require that detainee gets a court date and an order for removal. I bet that order also needs to be accepted by the country you're returning them to and you cant just walk them to the border (but I could be wrong).
I'm all for jumping the courts as well and "just deport them" but it'd be difficult.
TL;DR It's more complicated than "just deport them anyway".

I don't know last vote was like 50.5 to 49.5 hahaha... I want it to be but I don't see any viable options for us if the USA were to tank.
Only way is if we got together like 20k of us and took over like Greenland or some other island. Even then over 200 years (us being dead) we'd be sitting in the same spot. One of us would have a liberal kid and they'd hide it. It'd grow slowly and eventually we'd be back to guys in dresses using bathrooms with 12 y/o girls.
