What? Wait, an antibody test only shows that the person has been exposed to the virus - NOT that they contracted the disease. Not everyone who is exposed to the virus actually gets the disease. This is what is meant by herd immunity - it’s the exposure and resulting buildup of antibodies in the population that slows the illness. The virus is still there.... this is why we still have 10s of thousands dying from the flu each year, even though there is a high level of herd immunity. Even with vaccines there are individuals who will still be high risk.

I do not believe the numbers from NYC appear to relate to those of other high population areas in the country some of which have similar test rates. The concern being that these deaths may not represent those whose death was primarily the result of the virus but rather any death with or perhaps even without a positive test. Why would they do this - why for the purposes of soliciting government subsidies tied to the virus event.
While virtual protests can be ignored - what about virtual rallies. Perhaps if Trump started this again it would again add strength to his position - I’ll wager they would not be ignored.

It’s a military exercise - while it’s fairly well documented that the virus is synthetic it is still unclear who deployed it, either the US at the Military games in Wuhan in October or the Chinese either intentionally or by accident. Remember Schumer’s comment regarding the FBI’s capacity for retribution.

Not all viruses will generate long term immunity and the antibodies required could be short lived allowing the herd to be reinfected over and over in cycles
I have a small business doing 6 mil/year with 30 employees and if this is what the next stimulus bill will have in it I would rather go out of business.... Just shrug!
This should be added to stimulus bill along with the requirement for internet retailers like amazon, eBay etc to show the country of origin on all items.

This is a military training exercise folks. This was a bioweapon released either intentionally or inadvertently by China and it is possible so was SARS - at the very least we know for a fact that China is actively involved in the development of engineered viruses. It is a test of the current global political systems to mobilize and defeat such an attack. The decisions here will be used to gauge the success or failure in future attacks.

Why can’t a major national chain like McDonalds reopen their restaurants and say come and take it and go to court based on their constitutional right to do business - make the government prove it was necessary
