He botched this from the beginning. Trump knew they were going to steal the election. He knew the swamp ran deep. He failed to plan accordingly. Extremely disappointing especially when someone lost their life and for what? Another speech?
Why would we even trust an investigation by Congress and SCOTUS? Just so they can come back and say, "no evidence of fraud" or "not widespread" or "not enough to change the outcome"? That would be the final nail in the coffin.
I work in a small community hospital that is primarily made up of geriatric patients. We are at capacity with COVID patients. We’re giving at least seven convalescent plasma a day. While I do think that COVID restrictions are way overblown, it is a death sentence for some.
They didn’t have a little thing called “the internet” for most of their lives. Their news came from a newspaper or one of the three channels that carried news. People also trusted the government more back then (Vietnam, for example). You take for granted that you have almost infinite knowledge literally, in the palm of your hand.
Only Democrats would think that an insurrection involved people armed with American flags.
