From what I've seen, the term has been in the media a lot lately, the retarded wiki page went up and it just feels to me like an awful lot of fake news all at once. I'm not sure where it started, but everyone is talking about it all of a sudden. One could certainly argue that it's all very purposeful, to create a scapegoat of sorts.
It's just very off base. The media's definitions and depictions are so far from the truth that you have to think there is something more than just idiots talking about stuff they dont understand.
