Soda is no doubt bad for you and has zero positive benefits. People have been smoking weed for a while yes, though we do not have much research on all of the cannabinoids. We have only researched very diligently the top 2 THC and CBD. There are so many more and long term affects have not been studied.

All in all, I do not think marijuana should be legalized, though it should be decriminalized because after using the substance, it really is not that bad...
