While this is true and I mostly agree with you I only have this to say. Viruses can also be spread by, for instance, pickings your nose and touching a debit card machine, chewing your nails and touching something, etc. most spread is through expulsion of bodily fluids such as coughing and sneezing, as you suggest. So IF (big if) you can be asymptotic for a week spreading this shit IF that is true, there are many other vectors to consider other than coughing and sneezing.
