If noting something that is common amongst different races isn’t racist, how is it “over the top” to point out that black men abandon their children at an above average rate?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t be kind to one another, but let’s think critically here. What you said is entirely contradicting.
Right? What’s the point in all the leverage and blackmail if you can’t use it to keep yourself out of trouble in any given circumstance?
The blackmail is to give you power over the ones blackmailed, but also as a bargaining chip for if you try to get taken down.
The only alternative is if Epstein were to be assassinated (and we all know Jeffery Epstein didn’t kill himself).
pool
🙄🙄
Idk how you can look at this picture long and hard enough to deduce that’s Roberts, but not figure out that pools don’t have boats and rafts in them, with a shoreline.
Just. Fucking. Execute.
Don’t waste more of our tax dollars on these traitorous fucks.
It will hurt me, financially, in the short-term, but guarantee my children a better life in the long-term.
Imagine being stupid enough to commit treason by manipulating vote counts, but being extra stupid enough to use the same conversion equation in every state.
Busy counting fraudulent ballots 🤡
Looking to make up for lost time, too.
Only domestically. Most of our enemies aren’t domestic and many of them haven’t announced themselves. The financiers and the foreign powers hellbent on world domination.
Hell, some of ((them)) have been doing this throughout most of history without announcement.
Most of the people on the Libertarian sub aren’t even lib left. Most of them are auth left larping as lib left.
IMO, lib left is hardly libertarian at all to begin with. Almost entirely counterintuitive, since our founding principles laid out the groundwork for true liberty from government. To try to take those principles and blend them with today’s version of progressivism contradicts much of of the freedom libertarianism stands for.
Arguing that perspective on any lib sub on Reddit is like talking to a wall, though. 80% are authoritarian larps and 19% are anarcho-libs who live in the same type of fantasy land as commies, believing their totally-government-free pipe dream is remotely realistic.
The past four years has been a slow walk. It’s time to wrap it up so we can move on to prosperity.
Ukraine - Biden
Haiti - Hillary
Things that make you go 🤔
And now they want to give your tax dollars away to 3rd world shitholes, instead of back to the taxpayers who need it.
Gold, bruh
Right. Having a legislative body is one of the most important facets of our system.
The problem is who watches the watchmen? When our executive isn’t willing to police them and their body is in charge of making the rules they have to follow, we have a problem. Our legislators, more than any other American, needs stricter rules to follow in order to limit corruption, and the IRS needs to be up their asses every year to account for where every dime they (and their families) make to insure we’re limiting the money in government.
These people’s salary is plenty compensation considering how little they actually have to work.
That’s a yuuuuuuge faggot
Unless you’re an unskilled cashier at fast food, demanding $15/hr. Then you’re less valuable than a touch screen ordering system or app 🤷
Say the line, Bart!
Do they post on TDW? Check, they love America.
- It’s very easy for these European counties to use the large tax revenue % to funnel into social problems because their defense budget is virtually 0. I can’t overstate enough how much money it costs the US to play world police. Part of this is due to the nature of our military industrial complex, but part of this is because over the past 100 years, we signed up for the job via treaties.
When, as Germany, you can avoid building and maintaining a large military because the US is obligated to come to your side if an enemy attacks you, what’s your incentive to spend your tax dollars on defense? When you’re committed to spending 2% of your GDP each year to NATO, but there’s no repercussions for putting in less, why not invest that money into social programs to let your citizens think they’re getting a good deal out of the high tax rate? Pacified citizenry while holding more power over them under the guise of good will.
The primary function of government, above all else, is the safety and security of its citizenship. It’s truly a daunting and costly task. Since most countries don’t need to worry about it, the amount of spare tax revenue they have is insane. Couple that with even higher tax rates than the US, and you have to wonder how much money doesn’t invest itself back into the population.
- It’s truly comparing apples to oranges when comparing the US to most other countries. Our strongest competitors on the global stage don’t share our system of government or sociology. You could argue the EU is the most like us, but the EU isn’t a nation, so you have to examine them by country. When you do that, you’re looking at the #3 GDP (the EU) moving down to more like individual countries ranking much lower. This branches off to two points -
The first, how can the GDP of countries who dump some much tax revenue into higher education have a lower GDP ranking than the US? The short, sweet answer is that the success and wealth of a country isn’t purely based on higher education in citizenry or how much you can tax them. Despite most of Europe offering free higher education, the average American citizen has a better life.
Second, you’re looking at a scenario where your ranking really doesn’t matter as much. Germany ranking 5th or 15th doesn’t make a big difference on a global scale. They can lose a few spots in the ranking and maintain their way of life. If the US were to rank down to 2nd with China overtaking us, the whole world would change drastically. The US has to invest elsewhere in order to allow the way of life that the entire free world is used to.
- As other commenters mentioned, the US drastically outspends every other country in foreign aid. No other country could compare, even if they wanted to.
I’d argue this is a waste of our time and money. A hold-over effect from the Cold War, where we’re still desperately trying to buy the most vulnerable countries’ favor to avoid creating more Irans across the globe. The way I see it, personally, is most of these underdeveloped countries are too uncivilized or low IQ to ever compete on a global scale. Most of them only know force and power. If we have to snuff out a few bad apples every decade or two, it would cost us much less in the long-run. The flip side to this is what China is currently doing in Africa. If we go totally hands off (much like Russia during the Cold War), China can go all in and rape Africa if it’s resources, making them a stronger global power.
Ultimately, this all circles back to one thing. The US is the beacon of the free world, and we spend out tax revenue in a way to maintain this way of life for western civilization. Taxation, military spending, global intervention. It’s a very fine line to walk if you want to do it right. The US isn’t totally dependent on anyone, while all these western countries are entirely dependent on the US to maintain their safety and way of life. We do what their government should be doing for them. If we would step back and make every other western nation put in their fair share, we could drastically lower our taxes and do more of what they do... Though I’m of the mind that we lower our taxes further and let people invest their money in themselves instead of being forced to spend it on their neighbors.
Jumps to $10 next year and increases by $1 every year until it either
A) $15.00/hr (2026)
Or B) gets voted back to how it currently is
I believe it’ll be back on the ballot next year to revoke if there’s a noticeable problem.
Putting the “idiot” in useful idiots.
You’re not wrong, but the amount of men over the decades who put us in this position with China vastly outnumbered the amount of women.
Who would think that weak, greedy leadership would lead to such an outcome?
As more and more comes out about China’s negative influence on our way of life (for decades!), all I hope for is justice and punishment to the fullest extent of the law. Many federal and state officials should hang, and their fortunes turned over.
Our inalienable rights haven’t changed, faggot, your side just likes to control everything that everyone thinks, says, and does.
Your ideology is a cancer that you parade around as virtue. It’d be easier to tolerate you all if you fuckers weren’t so god damn smug about it. Your side is the equivalent of the school bully who pushes and bosses people around, and once one of the kids strikes back, you cry victim.
No jail for treason. It’s a waste of tax dollars.
Quick trial. Death penalty.
