Lots of politicians have called for confiscation. It used to be a fringe idea that only far left radicals talked about, but now it’s becoming more mainstream. They will absolutely attempt it one day. It may not be this year, next year or 10 years from now.. but the day is coming. You used to be able to own any gun you wanted in this country. No background check, no ID, no paperwork whatsoever. And it wasn’t as long ago as you might think. They’ve been slowly taking our guns away for decades. They never stop. No matter what legislation passes, it’s never good enough. They always want more. If we let them ban “assault weapons” now, you think that would be the end of it? Hell no.. they would move on to the next thing they want to ban. They won’t stop until all guns are banned and confiscated.
I don’t give a shit about cucked state laws. We’re talking federal here. There are ALWAYS going to be State-specific exceptions to every law. If you live in California and own guns, you have way bigger problems than this.
They would need more evidence than just the gun being traced to me. If the victim of said crime had no relationship to me and no other evidence pointing to me as a potential suspect, a serial number on a gun isn’t going to get me convicted. They would need a little more evidence than that. And as long as they don’t have a warrant for my arrest, I won’t be telling them shit.
