It’s sad really. Pence has based his persona off of being Christian. Now I do not know if that is him using it to political means or if in fact he truly considers himself a Christian (probably somewhere between the two is reality). I belong to a sect of Christianity that is considered more “fundamentalist” than most. Looking at Pence it’s very sad because he chose to ignore great sin and let it pass. And unfortunately deep down in his core he probably knows it’s wrong but decided to go along with it due to external temptation and promises. And now him not using the 25th is his own personal way of trying to show himself that he isn’t a morally corrupt traitor and that he really is principled. When in reality he isn’t. And at the end of the day I just feel bad for him that he will probably be judged harshly for his treason. But that is not my judgement to make. Pray for his forgiveness.
