On a side note tho, I can tell you from first hand experience that many patients DO lie about pain to get pills 24/7. At my skilled nursing facilities I see patients that are scheduled to get pain meds every 4 hours literally count the seconds then make a huge fuss to get their pills at exactly the 4 hour mark. I also see people rating their pain “10/10” while seconds after laughing at a joke I made.
