Nothing in Pence's statement actually contradicted what Trump himself tweeted last night: send it to the state legislators. Last I checked Trump's approval rating has held steady for this entire period. Nearly every single republican voter believes that the election was stolen, as well as a decent chunk of dems according to Rassmussen, so we really aren't losing the PR battle.
