For most of my life I have been very much anti-religion, any religion. But over the last few years have come to the conclusion that religion is probably the only answer to what plagues the West. I would now consider myself an ally of the Christians.
So while I will most likely never believe in a god (unless some pretty compelling evidence arises) you may one day see me sitting in the pews along side the other worshippers, going through the motions, trying my best to assist in fixing this mess.
