There's a long version showing him further down the road. He slows then gets chased by people so he speeds up to get away then slows again when he approaches the pack of people and that's when he's attacked again and they try to pull him out. Good shoot.

Well they all have what appear to be federal badges so if they aren't I'm sure they would be scooped up for impersonation. Slapping patches on PCs is one thing but wearing a fake badge is on another level.
