I'm a Nevada resident and I'm pretty pissed off about it. I do not trust the USPS to handle my vote at all. Furthermore I moved in March and the Nevada dmv online address change system has been down for MONTHS! I tried faxing the info and I don't think it worked.

I never go no ballot for the primary, and I'm starting to think that if I don't go put on a fucking mask to go tk the DMV in person to change my address that I won't be able to vote becuase they will try to say that voting on person isn't safe.

I have a constitutional right to own firearms equivalent to what our military uses. I demand the right to own full auto

Maybe we should start a new nra. Not just defend the second amendment but aggressively push back against unconstitutional laws

Our rules of decorum and engagement

This is why we keep losing. We have forgotten that Americans don't give a shit about rules of decorum and engagement.

Wait hang on, are we talking about a ruling along the lines of say a court house not being able to place a cross in the lobby or a ruling that a person is not allowed to wear a cross while inside a court house?

Okay so public means state owned right? So we aren't talking about a business owner being forbidden from displaying a cross or something like that. We are talking about a court house or a state capital building things like that.

And I not knowing the opinion you are talking about or the specifics of the case being reviewed, am going to make a guess that her opinion came from the spirit of the first part of the first amendment. "congress shall pass no laws respecting the establishment of religion nor prohibi the free exorcize thereof." So I think the logic behind the opinion is that it would be a violation of the first amendment to commit tax payer dollars to displaying religious symbols, and that it further goes against the spirit of the first amendment to show favoritism to one religion over others.

Now I'd that was in the ballpark of what get opinion was, as an atheist it makes sense to me. But I don't hate Christians so it it doesn't really bother me when I see a cross or ten commandments in a government building either.

I am in a state with a mandatory mask order right now.

I am a atheist who looks to the US constitution and bills of rights fid moral guidance.

I believe that mask mandate would be constitutionally valid if 1) the mandate was for medical masks that are proven effective, bit just cloth masks that may actually give you a influenza like illnesses. 2) they are mandated to protect against a virus that is proven very deadly, as it is this illness seems no worse then the seasonal flu. 3) the orderes were being made non politically. It's pretty obvious that this mask thing is a political one, especially since it was deemed okay to protest for BLM but not against the shutdown.

Becuase of these three things honestly believe that mandating masks is a state mandated placebo, and as an American I absolutely refuse to comply. It is the government exerting its political will over the people to scare us. My faith is within the US constitution and bill of rights, compliance with this particular mask order would go against the closest thing I have to a religion.

Public meaning state owned, and I could actually see a constitutional basis for this.
