I've got a cut and paste program for the phone, but unfortunately, even at 100% magnification it still takes forever. No recommendation for a high quality program that makes it easier or works better?

What I need to learn is how to cut out the main item perfectly to place in another picture (if that makes any sense). Is there a particular program you would recommend that can do that? One for both desktop and phone?
