They still want to impeach Trump? What would that mean exactly? (I'm assuming they will get it done, now that dems have the senate) No chance of Trump being president anymore?
Now there is a lot of theory going on about wether or not Trump still has something up his sleeve.
I don't know how trump truly feels about violence. I read a post here recently outlining, that it is good strategy for trump supporters to try out the boundaries a bit (like we saw yesterday), so as to maintain aggression and ensure a winning momentum, but for trump to basically play good cop.
But from what I have seen, Trump genuinely doesn't seem to want to create massive civil clashes.
So if that is so, I can't really imagine Trump pulling out something out of his sleeve now, even if he perhaps has something. It would just cause exactly what I mentioned before.

So apparently Putin gave the order to take out Navalny with the nerve agent Novitchok when the latter anounced his candidacy for president. Part of the group invested in the research that led to this conclusion is... CNN. Immediate suspicion (which is quite sad, since our news agencies should be our most powerful weapons).
So the claim is, that through flight logs and geolocations obtained through mobile phones, a group of FSB agents were following around Navalny pretty much everywhere he went, tried to poison him once (he felt sick for about 15 minutes), then (intentionally or accidentally) poisoned his wife and now the third time they actually got him, but he didn't die. Several labs supposedly confirmed the nerve agent to be present in Navalny.
So having said all of that. I don't recall details, but I remember the Salisbury attack (essentially also an alleged novitchok poisoning by Russians) being fishy as well. I know for sure that CNN knows how to do fake news. I know that there is a lot of misinformation about /propaganda against Putin.
From what it seems to me, based nationalist. could be wrong. Haven't got any info to debunk the story (although the effort to debunk frequently is a mistake.. politics 101 never explain yourself. Push your narrative and ridicule opposition is more effective)
So what are your thoughts on this?

My understanding is, that he has to (or can) certify the electoral college votes. I he does, that’s it and on to the inauguration we go, but what happens if he doesn’t? Also am I correct in believing, that pence vote is not just relevant in a tie scenario?
