I have purchased milk (gallon jug), taken it home, opened it right then, and had to throw it out because it was spoiled. It is more economical for us to purchase organic milk (half-gallon cartons). In ten years, I have thrown away two half-gallon cartons, as opposed to 50% of the gallon jugs we used to buy. We buy a lot of milk.

A LOT.

Honestly? Read labels and buy generic. Most "high-end" food have crap in there that you can't pronounce. It's the opposite of 20 years ago. Find your store-brand's "organic" line and get that instead.

The "top of the hour conditioning" message is what creeps me out. Turns out it's just a reminder to sanitize and neaten your workspace, but it sounds Big Brother-y.
