There is an episode of Disney’s Recess (great cartoon that often touched on more mature themes) where the government removes recess from the school day to improve test scores. The test scores go down, so the same government officials invent a time for kids to go outside during the day. They called it R.E.C.E.S.S. ( can’t remember what the acronym stood for). Great episode and so true to the reality of what government officials do.
