Its not that everyone really knew about it. Its just a very obvious observation from todays standpoint. It has always been political theatre. Why do you think parties in control keep switching but the country has slowly kept moving in the same direction? Its all control. They make you think your vote means something. It never did. Look at all the RINOS and what they have done lately. They make a scene every once in a while to make conservatives feel like they are fighting when they really are not. Its like a fixed basketball game with point shaving. They already know who wins, they just have to sell it.
