I think there's a difference between healthy debate, and fake ass accounts that are showing up trying to demoralize and troll the community.
I agree with you, we need to be level headed and act smart here. Becoming a cult like the leftists will be our doom. If you can't see your blind spots, you will not see what's coming.
It's been happening for decades Mr President. It's just it was way more subtle.
Part of me is glad they are so blatant now because it was their lies that opened my eyes to the glory of POTUS.
But I do think it's disgusting how the propaganda turns innocent minds into thinking they are fighting for a good cause while destroying the nation.
I don't think it's irreversible. I went on the journey myself, and I have managed to bring my girlfriend along with me. She went from being hard left to being happy to questing things now and trying to get multiple perspectives,

I have just stopped arguing with leftists as much as I can. Friends and family, sure.
The problem is they have been brainwashed by the propaganda machine, and no amount of evidence will help. It's not objective. The behaviour I keep seeing is simply ignoring hard evidence, clinging to debunked weak evidence, and confirming their bias.
The irony is many of these people think they're smarter than people on the right. They think they are "people of science".
It's a shame what the propaganda machine has done to these people's brains.

I think once Trump gets the presidency, we need to make a concerted effort to start our own information campaign to educate people. It's sad, but I truly think that the majority of these leftists are just completely unaware they are being lied to, and have been lied to for decades. It took me 2-3 years to go from thinking Trump was a facist when he was running in 2016, to becoming a huge supporter, and willing to stand up against the defamation that happens to conservatives. It started when I started to watch Trump rallies rather than listening to what was said about the rallies. I started to see, very clearly, that the media was lying non-stop about the contents of Trumps words. It was absolutely shocking. Many more people need to be taken down this path. It can't happen with force, we must show them the door, but they have to choose to walk through it.
I have a reading list of books to share with people, and I have been saving all the credible evidence I could find to start sharing. But it takes YEARS to deprogram yourself, and we have an uphill battle.
