Talk to your teacher and your parents about this. I know kids hate to do this, but schools will run over kids who don't have parents to back them up.

Speaking of backups, learn how to save and file your work, now, while it's a manageable pain in the ass, instead of a disaster.

I already gained more blubber than I would like during this shutdown. The last thing I need is new opportunities to overeat.

If your immune system is not very good, a vaccine isn't going to do you much good.

Only five people across the state are currently in an ICU bed with the coronavirus. At its peak last September, it was as high as 65. Dr. Julius Pham, chair of the COVID-19 committee at Queen's Medical Center, believes it's a clear sign vaccines offer protection against hospitalization.

I've been reading that children are apparently not a threat to the adults around them, with respect to COVID-19. This would make the disease unusual, but so far, the data shows they don't pass it among themselves or to the adults around them.

A federal appeals court ruled Monday that University of Iowa officials who kicked a Christian student club off campus because of its faith can be held personally accountable for their actions.

Business Leaders in Christ, or BLinC, a student group at the school, said the university targeted them for requiring student leaders to affirm the Christian faith.

The university claimed this was a violation of its nondiscrimination policy, even though it allowed other religious groups to select faith-compliant leaders and openly encouraged other groups—like fraternities and sororities—to select leaders based on certain characteristics covered by the nondiscrimination policy.

Drunk or drugged, or both.

The first time I visited New York on business, I went to a prestigious address on 5th Avenue, and when I got out of the limo I was hit with the strong smell of stale human piss. That street-level smell never went away.

In my opinion, a city that smells like stale piss cannot claim to be sophisticated.

People pee in the doorways of the office buildings in DC, too, but at least the steps get washed every morning.
