Before 2016, every presidential election for over half a century was basically two empty suits running against each other, with the same special interests backing both candidates. So there was really only ever one choice, because the candidates were interchangeable.
Then Trump came around. The reason the establishment and the media are so afraid of him, and try so hard to take him down, is because he represents something so radically different. He doesn't submit to the "uniparty" paradigm that has ruled American presidential politics since JFK was assassinated, which makes him dangerous to entrenched political interests in Washington.

Imagine if he gets covid. When the President got covid, verified lefties on twitter could hardly contain their joy over the news; some of them were openly cheering for his death. It ended up being a nothing-burger... it had the double effect of not only making lefties feel dejected because Trump survived, but also showing people that this thing isn't as bad as most people believe (I'm not saying it isn't bad, but polling shows that the average person believes it's like 100x more deadly than it actually is).
I don't wish for anything bad to happen to Biden (other than to lose the election), but if he got covid now, he would likely spend the rest of the campaign in a hospital bed. He's very vulnerable in terms of his health, while Trump has already weathered the storm. I mean, hell, Biden already looks like he could keel over at any moment, and he's not even sick.

When The_Donald was on reddit, they could suppress us by manipulating the algorithm, banning users, quarantining the sub, etc. They eventually went too far, and pushed us off their shitty site, so we left and made our own thing.
Turns out this site has become pretty successful, and now they can't control us like they used to on reddit, so they have to resort to attempting false flags and being agent provocateurs. Some of the messed up comments you're seeing might be genuine, but I feel pretty confident that most of them are fake and an attempt to slander this site and its users.
The solution is even easier than that. We only have to do two things: 1.) end the federal guarantee, and 2.) make student loan debt dischargeable in bankruptcy. That's it.
Then student loans would work like every other kind of loan, and financial instructions will stop lending to students who are obviously never going to be able to pay them back. Only high achieving students who choose a degree program with high earning potential would be issued loans.
All of the useless and retarded majors would have to subsist on rich parents who can pay out-of-pocket, because no loan company is going to fund that shit if the government isn't guaranteeing they'll get payed back. Colleges and their programs would have to become more competitive, because there would be less money being thrown around.

I mean, if it's based on the M14, then it would also be correct to say it's based on the Garand. The M14 is basically just a magazine-fed, select-fire Garand that's chambered in 7.62 NATO. The parts aren't interchangeable (most notably, the M14 has a much shorter op rod), but if you look at a field stripped M1 Garand and compare it to a field stripped M14, you'll see the family resemblance.
