Just wanted to share this fucked up thing I realized at my job. I recently started cooking at a pizza place while waiting for trade school to open back up. There is this middle aged white lady who reminds me a lot of my mom. She is just a driver, pretty much the same as a cook, but has been there for 4 fucking years.

Meanwhile a middle eastern muslim girl who started there 4 months ago (moved here 3 years ago), is already manager because the other managers are middle eastern also. The other lady has been working here longer than the middle eastern girl has been in the fucking country and shes already making more than her.

It upsets me that a woman who reminds me of my mom is making the same scrap cash I am while I'm in school. Thats all.
