At this clinic they had cutbacks and reduced hours for a stretch for the covid flood that never happened. But they do regular covid testing and kept seeing a lot of patients, and are consistently busy. Cutbacks were/are an unfortunate corporate decision not something the staff could control.

I know the nurse who posted this. She is an old school nurse who works hard for her patients. She was just excited and happy for the gesture.

Yes. I know these folks, the docs and nurses, and they are humble and just happy to serve people. No humble brag videos and rarely post about clinic stuff. They were just happy to be thanked, and thought the gesture of the flowers was really sweet. People forget how intense it can be working in the more rural areas, lots of demand with fewer resources.

Haha nah, it’s not like that at this clinic. They work hard there and don’t do showy things, I know them all. But yeah 😉

So many scared people with so few facts. While stats shouldn’t minimize anyone’s suffering or death, we should as a nation think about the scale of our response to this virus and the FEAR being perpetrated on our society.

I’m not sure that qualifies as ramblings. She is a whistleblower and the 3rd separate one that I’ve seen over the last month in NYC. This is the same city that tried to pass a DNR for people having heart attacks, etc. not to be revived. A LOT of shady stuff is happening throughout NYCs medical system.

It’s time to get back out there.

Talk to friends and family. Go to the store. Don’t be afraid. Go walking out and about in more public areas if your parks are closed like mine are. Breathe the fresh air.

We’ve had enough. Don’t wait on government to make you feel safe. Set the tone as a free American so we can all move forward. Others will follow.

From what I’ve read in different science/medical blogs the virus particles are too small and they go straight through these homemade masks. Husband is an MD and confirms. I think the CDC mask gig was a PR stunt to make people feel like they are doing something, even if it doesn’t actually matter...

While they mock Trump, they forget the reason for wearing the stupid masks to begin with

Good grief. So sick of the idiotic fake news and the assault against him, when he’s living and breathing this stuff day and night, trying to help.

I was half listening yesterday while cleaning so didn’t catch it...

They are making fun of Trump for something he said at press conference yesterday and of course misconstruing it

This isn’t fake news... these are robots used to disinfect hospital rooms. I’m not sure if the tech is being used but it could be applied in a variety of ways.

Sean’s been touting wearing masks to baseball games and body temperature scanners to get into stadiums. Turned his show off the other day. Patriot Act much?! Not sure what happened to him.
