Unfortunately what happens when EVERY store requires you to mask, get temp taken, etc. if we don’t stand up now, we will end up walking through full body scanners just like we do at the airport to do anything. It’s not necessarily about whah they are asking you to do, it’s the invasion of privacy and assault on personal freedom that snowballs out of control.
Yes she was followed through the store by employees who kept coming up to her offering masks. By the time she started filming she was already at checkout and half of that had already happened. So instead of just letting her checkout with her 6 items and leave, they made a show of her getting a temp check then going back through the store to check out
Husband is MD who test patients for Covid and has tested probably over 1500+ patients... he said only 50% of Covid positive patients even register a fever.
I have to too. I’m heartbroken over what has happened in this country, and how quickly so many people roll over and think that it’s ok to torment other people over a virus with a 99% survival rate.
I understand where you’re coming from in that compared to other scenarios this wasn’t that bad. I shouldn’t have jumped on you about it. It’s just maddening that our freedoms to even run into a store to grab a few items have been taken away!!
Yes this woman was followed around the store by employees and they actually lined up at checkout to “stare her down” and intimidate her. They called the police so the police were waiting on her in the parking lot. That’s why at the end she said she’s standing up against tyranny and for them too, even though they don’t know it. She does have medical conditions that keep her from wearing a mask, which has forced her into this terrible place where she either complies and suffers, or doesn’t comply and suffers.

A cop showed up in the parking lot as she was leaving in her car and told her to roll down her window asking if “everything was ok” but did it in a snarky way. She said she was filming the officer and the officer said back, that’s ok I’m filming you too if you’ll turn and look at me so I can get a good shot of your face”. Some of the Whole Foods employees had come out to the parking lot and were mocking her. They had formed a line at the register when she went to check out and just stared her down.
So no arrest by police but for a minute she thought she was going to be.
They called security on her, followed her through the store, and have a table set up for temperature checks. SORRY!! Not the America I want to live in. This is disgusting. They also called the police on her while she was in the store and the police met her in the parking lot when she was leaving. *I know personally who this person is and what happened to her, and she was shaken and very upset by this interaction.
So we can send BILLIONS of dollars overseas for third world shithole countries.... but we can’t waive a stupid fine by the FDA that punishes these distilleries who stepped up to help America???

I went out of my way to shop local this year. I bought gifts from local stores/mom and pop shops and boutiques and artists. We ate locally as much as we could.
If we all did this one or two times a week, even if in small amounts... whatever you can afford... we could these businesses going.
What’s sad is that on this site I posted a video of someone I know doing exactly that while the store employees ganged up on her at the checkout, called the police and “perp-walked” her to the front of the store to get her temperature scanned... and half the commenters said,”Oh that wasn’t so bad. The employees were polite. She just had to get her temperature scanned! I don’t mind doing that!”
